“Baby boomers quitting Facebook!?” say it ain’t so..

A new article out there showing some declining stats of baby-boomers on Facebook and some potential reasonswhy. More of a rant but it does pose some interesting questions regarding User Interface’s, Facebook and older users. I find that making age an issue is not a even a relevant thought . Most people have tried to redo and re make user interface devices and we have found that most of these new fangled devices arent needed. The kiss principal works and as allfacebook.com shows the most used Facebook apps are those that are the simplest to use. But all ages are using these apps not just the older users.

What instead we should be looking at is the amount of time those older users are spending on Facebook. We see that the younger users are still on there and are growing but I bet the older users are just using there time online more efficiently. And spending most of there time face to face with real people not just online..but you can be the judge of that so here is the link to this article.
